The two San Antonio-based artists offer us not only a reflection of their inner worlds but an invitation to consider the things we carry in our own lives. This exhibition speaks to the strength, vulnerability, and complexity of being human, as told through the eyes of two women who have lived, loved, and experienced much.

Rudi & the Rudiments have been performing concerts in the cave annually since 2002, with an eclectic lineup of genre-defying musicians playing various ancient and modern instruments. Kari Englehardt’s botanical works of petroleum phytoremediators, Nate Cassie’s oilfield-glazed ceramics and the environmental sound collage of Parker Duke offer individual examinations of this sometimes-fraught relationship. The result is an exhibition of chance sensory beauty derived from the Permian Basin.

A Memorial Day Tribute presented by The Woodland Winds, a Woodwind Quintet based in The Woodlands, TX. is comprised of five talented musicians: Susan Daniell (flute), Leanne Becknell (oboe), Mike Mattner (clarinet), Mark Collado (French horn), and Paige Liccioni (bassoon).
